Q. How much does this cost?
Everything is FREE for Secretaries and Clubs, we do not charge them for any of our services (including posting Premiums online and accepting Credit Card entries). Exhibitor accounts are $15/yr. For Instant Entries - when an exhibitor enters online with a credit card payment - we charge a 10% convenience fee. The $15/yr membership fee is deducted from any Instant Entries that you create. Please click here for details.

Q. How do I get a trial listed and Premium/Test Schedule posted on Dog Events Online?
We try to list every single Agility Trial in the country on our website, and we need your help! Just send us an email (info@DogEventsOnline.com) with the trial dates and information - we can get most details for AKC trials (except check payable and ISC fees) from the AKC website, however if it's a NADAC or USDAA trial you will need to send us all of the details (Club, Location, Address, City, State, Zip, Dates, Classes offered, Fees, Check Payable, Secretary Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, Email). You can email us a link to any Premium or Test Schedule and we'll post the link on our site, or you can email as an attachment any PDF or Word document, which we will post online. We do not charge for trial listings or Premium List / Test Schedule file hosting, we are happy to have trial information organized online all in one place at no cost to anyone!

Q. I can't get the Entry Form to print out!
Often times computers have issues with Adobe Acrobat PDF files, or FDF files. If you can normally download/view PDF files, like Premium Lists, then you do have Acrobat installed however you are having issues with FDF files. Please see our help information to solve this issue, or if you need help installing Adobe Acrobat for the first time (or upgrading) click here.

Q. Why can't I enter an advanced level class? I only see Novice in the pull-down menu!
You are only allowed to compete in an advanced class if your dog has earned the required titles in lower-level classes. For example, your dog may not compete in AKC Open Agility until he has earned his AKC Novice Agility (NA) title. You must update your dog's titles in your Account before you may enter an advanced level class.

Q. How do I add/update a title on my dog?
For AKC titles:
Go to your My Account area (you must login first). On the left side, under "MY DOGS" click on the dog's name that you want to update. On the following page, which is your dog's Information page, look down the right side for a listing of all venues that your dog competes in (AKC, USDAA, NADAC, etc.). Look for the AKC Information section and click the link that says "Add/Edit AKC Info." On the following page you can update your dog's AKC titles. Be sure to hit the submit button at the bottom of the page to save your changes!
For USDAA titles:
Go to your My Account area (you must login first). On the left side, under "MY DOGS" click on the dog's name that you want to update. On the following page, which is your dog's Information page, look down the right side for a listing of all venues that your dog competes in (AKC, USDAA, NADAC, etc.). Look for the USDAA Information section and click the link that says "Add/Edit USDAA Info." On the following page you can update your dog's USDAA titles. Be sure to hit the submit button at the very bottom of the page to save your changes!
For NADAC titles:
Go to your My Account area (you must login first). On the left side, under "MY DOGS" click on the dog's name that you want to update. On the following page, which is your dog's Information page, look down the right side for a listing of all venues that your dog competes in (AKC, USDAA, NADAC, etc.). Look for the NADAC Information section and click the link that says "Add/Edit NADAC Info." On the following page you can update your dog's NADAC titles. Be sure to hit the submit button at the very bottom of the page to save your changes!

Q. How do I request a move-up or a cancellation?
For Mail-In Entries:
Contact the Trial Secretary for any changes with your Mail-In entry.
For Instant Entries:
If it is before the closing date, we may be able to process your move-up or cancellation/refund. Email us at info@DogEventsOnline.com with your request (include your Entry ID, your name, dog's name, trial name, date, and state), or else you can go through the Trial Secretary. Any move-ups (or cancellations for bitches in season, etc.) after the closing date MUST go through the Trial Secretary.

Q. I had a problem while creating an Instant Entry (credit card payment), what do I do now?
Determine whether or not the Instant Entry went through:
Go to your My Account area, and go to your dog's section that you were creating an entry for. If the entry shows up in your dog's "upcoming events" and is listed as "ACCEPTED" then your entry was completed and you are in the trial. If your entry does not show up there, you are not in the trial, please try your entry again.
Check for an emailed Confirmation receipt:
Right after your Instant Entry is completed, you will be emailed a receipt (within 30 seconds of your order). If you did receive a receipt then you are in the trial. If you do not receive a receipt then your entry did not go through (or else you gave us the wrong email address, or your email box was full, or your spam filter rejected our email). You need to try your entry again.
Try your entry again:
Close your browser and start the process over from the beginning (logout and then login again), so that none of the pages are cached and your shopping cart is empty when you start. If you still have problems creating an entry, call us at 970-834-9040 and we will walk you through the process or complete your transaction over the phone.

Q. What if my credit card is billed twice, or if I entered the same trial twice?
The only reason your credit card might get billed twice is if you entered a trial twice. You might enter a trial twice if you forgot you had already entered (yes this happens a lot!) or if you thought the first transaction had a problem so you tried again. If you can contact us (970-834-9040) the same day that you make the mistake transaction (and it is during business hours M-F) then we can likely void the complete order and refund your entire transaction amount. However, if it is after business hours and on a different day then we can only refund your entry fees, not the convenience charge because we have already processed the entry. Just remember that it is better to enter twice, and get your 2nd entry refunded later (minus the 10% convenience charge), then to not enter at all and end up missing the trial - we can NOT get you into the trial if it has filled or has closed!

Q. What if the site is not working and the trial is closing in 5 minutes!?!?
Calm down, we will do our best to get you in! If there is a massive surge in users on the website then you might notice things slowing down, so just be patient and let the pages all load completely. We DO have a record of every single entry created on our site, based on the time you hit the "Instant Entry" button to add the entry to your shopping cart, so if something goes wrong we can go back and prove that you created your entry before a trial closed. We also have a record of every credit card submission, so we know that you tried to pay at that time. Please email us (info@DogEventsOnline.com) right away to report a problem (yet another way to prove your "time of entry") and call us (970-834-9040) during business hours and we'll do our best to get your original entry completed. But remember that it will always be less stressful to enter the trial at least an hour before closing, rather then waiting until the last minute - literally!

Q. What if my internet connection isn't working, or I don't have access to a computer right now?
Call us at 970-834-9040! If your computer suddenly is not working, or if you are driving home from a trial and you suddenly remember that the trial closes "today" but you are still 6 hours away from home, just call us up and we can process your entry over the phone. (TIP: Keep our phone number handy in your wallet!) Because you already have signed up with an account with Dog Events Online, you have already agreed to all the General Agreements with AKC, USDAA, NADAC, etc., and we have all your dog's information (registration numbers, class preferences, etc.) so we can just look up your account and submit your entry directly through our servers if you can give us your credit card information over the phone.

Q. How do entries accepted by "Postmark Date" work online?
When a NADAC trial is accepting entries by Postmark Date, then your online Instant Entries are considered "Postmarked" on the date that you enter online. Because the secretary has to wait for all of the regular Mail-In entries to be received, we cannot guarantee that your Instant Entry gets "ACCEPTED" immediately, so the initial status of your Instant Entry is "PENDING: POSTMARK." Then as the secretary receives the other entries by mail over the next couple days, they will divide up all the entries and start accepting them based on the postmark date, then time. Your entry status will be changed to "ACCEPTED" once it has made it into the trial. If the trial fills with entries made before yours, then the status of your entry will be changed to "PENDING: WAIT LIST" until there are spaces available (because of cancellations). When the trial closes, if you still have not made it in, then your entry status will be set to "REFUNDED" and we will refund your entry fees paid online back onto your credit card. The 10% convenience fee will not be refunded.
